Anotace: The paper describes the software for 16-bit fixed-point DSP (Analog Devices, ADSP21XX), which served for processing of acoustic signals. The DSP in the same time generated and received acoustic (standard and nonstandard) DTMF tones and characters in the UART function (Acoustic UART). The DSP program worked well as a core for communication as I2C slave peripheral. The I2C communication is way to drive of DTMF DSP based periphery through I2C addressable control registers. Tasks thus directed DSP described in two specific implementation projects where described DTMF peripherals were used with success (as the POS terminal in the GSM acoustic channel and as the sound based control unit for long distance light at the airport).

Anotace: The paper deals with the simulation calculation of the optical flow with SAD algorithm. Unlike other implementing optical flow calculation for 2D sensors, we used a sensor with concentrically arranged elementary detectors. In paper we deal with the realization of geometric log-polar transformation. This facilitated the creation of virtual concentric sensor from classical 2D sensor. We described the implementation of the calculation of optical flow for virtual sensor based on FPGA. We also discuss the properties of a new sensor for use it in anti-collision systems.

Abstract—In this paper we describe the proof of concept of processing of the compressed video of scene to obtain still (static) image. Described method is a type of visualization where we convert video file to one static image by an image stitching method. The source of the video frames was video IR thermometer. It recorded along with the video in 3GP format also subtitle srt file with measured IR data. Visualized IR data were stitched in to static scene and can help in documenting and evaluating the outcomes of measurements using video IR thermometer.

Anotace: In the paper we describe the control electronics for the industrial test system based on the low cost PLC. Developed system was hydraulic pulse system and it generates series of high pressure hydraulic pulses (max. 200bar) and is based on the pneumatic-hydraulic circuits. We describe the requirements, the overall concept of the embedded control system, user interface, security features and network connectivity. In the description of the software solution we describe implemented hierarchical ordered program threads (multithreaded program) and main control state machine. At the conclusion, we describe the calibration method of the system and calibration curves, we present the schematic diagram and a photo of the functional prototype of the system

Anotace: This article is focused on the design of low cost electronics and software solution for the radar front-end electronics based on the Universal Software Radio Peripheral (USRP) for short range FMCW (Frequency Modulated – Continuous Wave) Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) system. We developed the radar front-end electronics with USRP type N210 from Ettus Research. As first, we describe requirements for SAR front-end, as second we in the detail describe the system process synchronization, the primary raw signal processing and necessary USRP FPGA program modification. Also we describe by us developed PC control program for system synchronization and raw data transfer control between SAR system high frequency part, USRP radar front-end and measurement PC. Finally, the measurement arrangement of the SAR system testing, real photo of all system and several results from the tests we show.
